Over 20 Years of Building a Safe and Thriving Community

Binford Redevelopment and Growth (BRAG) is a not-for-profit community neighborhood organization whose mission is the commercial and residential enhancement of the area bound by:

1. North: 96th Street
2. East: Sargent Road
3. South: 56th St. to Fall Creek Parkway North Dr. to Fall Creek Rd to Sargent Rd.
4. West: Dean Road from 62nd extended north to 96th Street. Allisonville from 62nd to 56th on the south.

A grassroots effort to make our community better.

BRAG launched in April 2005 as a grassroots effort to “fight the blight” at Binford Boulevard and 71st street. With that effort now bearing significant fruit, the organization has grown into a community development group with a broader focus on addressing economic and quality-of-life issues facing residents and businesses.

The BRAG area is a diverse and stable community with over 35,000 residents and over 350 businesses.

Everyone should enjoy the community they live and work in.

As we continue to address economic issues in our community, one current focus is ensuring everyone who lives and works here enjoys it. Our focus on creating a desirable and fun community has resulted in initiatives such as the Farmers Market, Nickel Plate Trail, and Skiles Test Nature Park.
